About

Laura Iniesta is a digital artist based in Mexico. Growing up, she fell in love with drawing, animated, horror and thriller movies, and reading fantasy, horror and young adult books. Through these passions, she found her drive as an artist. She studied Art and Animation in Tecnológico de Monterrey, where she began her career as an animator.

Her big breakthrough was in 2016 when she collaborated with Fotosíntesis Media as an assistant animator, colorist, clean-up artist, assistant editor, and VFX composer in the movie Un Ángel en el Reloj and short films for League of Legends.  Years later, she collaborated with National Geographic on a kids' tv show (Opa Popa Dupa, you can find this show on the Disney plus) as an illustrator and animator. During the pandemic, she started as a full-time illustrator making commissions for dancing schools in Mexico as well as private commissions.

Laura enjoys reading books and comics in her free time, making illustrations about her favorite characters, and writing her own thriller stories; she enjoys exploring her home city and traveling.

Laura hopes to write and illustrate her book  and graphic novel in the following years.
